OG Kush

OG Kush is perhaps one of the most famous cannabis strains on planet earth. It all started in the early 1990s in Florida, where a Hindu Kush was crossed with an unknown strain from Northern California. It travelled to California with famous cannabis breeder Matt “Bubba” Berger, who is also the creator of Bubba Kush. When it arrived in Cali it was brought to breeder Josh D., who used it to create a multitude of famous strains like Girl Scout Cookies, Headband and many others. There is a long list of famous phenotypes of OG Kush such as Tahoe OG, Ghost OG, Comatose OG and San Fernando Valley OG. Some say the OG represents “Ocean Grown”, others say it stands for “Original”.
